You do not start from zero. Whatever does not fit, we fine-tune.

krafteq Handwerk is standard software for trades businesses with 5 to 50 employees — not a project built for you from scratch: from the enquiry through quote, job and time tracking to the e-invoice and the export to your tax advisor. Bought, not rented. Your own installation, fully offline if you want it. We are currently rolling it out with the first businesses: you test it free of charge, receive an individual offer afterwards, and we set up your business together with you.

Pay once, use it permanently: a fixed-price perpetual licence instead of monthly rent. Billed per business, not per head.

Why this model and not a subscription

Subscription software is not bad software. But the rent never ends, the price hangs on plan tiers and seats, and in standardised cloud operation changes for a single business are typically more tightly bounded. Those are the three points where krafteq Handwerk works differently: bought once, billed per business rather than per head, in an installation of its own.

One system instead of three

No more typing quotes into a spreadsheet at night, no more copying notes from the site, no more switching between three programs. One system, one data set, from the enquiry to the invoice and the accounting export.

No price-increase email

No monthly rent, no contract that quietly renews. You buy a perpetual right of use — bought is bought.

Per business, not per head

The software does not get more expensive when you hire. We bill neither per user nor per workstation, so site access for your crew is included.

Your own installation

Your own database, your own domain, your own configuration — not a system shared with other businesses. On request entirely inside your own network, with no internet connection.

And if something is missing?

Fine-tuning after go-live is included. Whatever does not fit your business in the first months, we fine-tune — with the scope written into your offer beforehand.

What krafteq Handwerk covers

A job runs all the way through: customer enquiry, quote, costing, scheduling, site documentation, time tracking, e-invoice, accounting export. No retyping between quoting tool, spreadsheet and bookkeeping.

Selling

Contacts, enquiries and quotes with hierarchical line items, catalogue and supplier prices via Datanorm, costing with a real surcharge structure, GAEB tender import.

Delivering

Jobs and projects with your own statuses, crew scheduling, a mobile day view for the site, time tracking, measurements, defects and site diary.

Invoicing

Interim, final and recurring invoices, ZUGFeRD and XRechnung, open items, dunning, payment matching against the bank statement via CAMT.053.

Booking

Receipts with email intake, cash book following German rules, DATEV export including the document package for your tax advisor.

Office and site see different things

The office sees the full scope. The site sees a lean section: day view, measurements, hours, receipts. That split is enforced on the server, not merely hidden in the menu.

Honest limits

No bookkeeping — the system produces entries, documents and exports; your tax advisor does the booking. No stock, no purchasing, no payroll, no portal for your own customers. We say what is missing before you buy.

You buy the software. You rent the operation — or run it yourself.

Those are two separate things and they stay separate: the one-off purchase price for the permanent right of use, and the ongoing operation of your installation. The concrete terms go into your offer, not onto this page.

Fixed-price perpetual licence — one-off

You buy a permanent right of use for the software as delivered. Paid once, no monthly licence fee, no term. Billed per business, not per user and not per workstation.

A dedicated installation per business

Your own database, your own domain, your own configuration. Not a shared system in which changes for a single business are typically more limited. Data export at any time.

Operation your way

Operation by krafteq as an annual service — the first year is included, after that security updates, backups, monitoring and support run through it. Or self-hosting on your server or with your IT provider, with no ongoing commitment towards Krafteq. Or fully offline inside your own network.

Included in the purchase price

All updates and security updates are included in the first year, as is the fine-tuning after go-live in the agreed scope. After that, updates run through maintenance — and without maintenance your version simply keeps running.

Per seat or per business — the difference is the model

The established vendors ship solid software. The difference is not a feature list but the model behind it: how you are billed, what remains after you cancel, and whether your business gets an installation of its own.

Whatever does not fit, we fine-tune

The most common reason to avoid switching software is not the price. It is the worry of noticing only after go-live that something is missing — and then having to buy it back expensively. That is exactly what the fine-tuning is for: you do not start from zero — krafteq Handwerk already reflects the daily work of a trades business — we watch how your business actually works, and we adjust. The scope is written into your offer beforehand so there is nothing to argue about.

01

Fine-tuning after go-live is included — duration and scope are set out in your offer.

02

Adjusting starts without development: switch off areas you do not use, rename processes and statuses to your own terms, set number ranges, tax rates, wage groups and print layouts.

03

If that is not enough, we build it. Whatever works for every business goes into the product and reaches you with the next update. Whatever applies only to your business gets its own offer.

04

You do not have to write a requirements list for this. We see where it gets stuck in day-to-day use — you do not have to describe it upfront.

05

The installation arrives with the terms, units and templates of your trade — not as an empty system you have to set up yourself.

Questions that come up before buying

Try it with your own data

You get your own krafteq Handwerk test instance — we set it up by hand for your trade, ready for your own data. A short request is enough; it is usually ready within three working days. No sales call, no obligation — we get back to you within one working day as a rule with one or two quick questions about your business.
