Bespoke software for your joinery business — free prototype in 5 business days
Cutting lists in Excel, workshop orders on paper, installation appointments in your head? You are a joiner or cabinetmaker, not a software administrator. krafteq builds your own business software for joinery and cabinetmaking — fixed price instead of a subscription, with a cutting list generator, site measurements on a tablet, and installation tracking. The code is yours, EU hosting, built in Leverkusen for woodworking businesses across the Rhineland and all of Germany.
Includes cutting lists, workshop orders and installation tracking — out of the box.
Who this is forDoes this sound familiar?
We build for joinery and cabinetmaking businesses with 1–20 employees — owners and master craftsmen who produce furniture, doors, staircases, windows, or complete interior fit-out. These are the situations we encounter most often:
Entering cutting lists twice
You draw in SketchUp or AutoCAD, transfer the dimensions to Excel, copy them into the quote, and enter them again in the workshop order. The same data three times over — and somewhere along the way an error creeps in.
The workshop asks about every order
Where are the fittings? Which veneer? Dimensions in mm or cm? Every morning the phone rings from the bench because the cutting list is incomplete or nowhere to be found. Hours are lost to back-and-forth rather than cutting.
Installation appointment moved — nobody knows
The client postpones by a week. The installer drives there anyway. Or the reverse: everything ready in the workshop, but the delivery date is in no system everyone can see. Verbal agreements don't hold.
Site measurements on a notepad
On-site with the client: tape measure, sketch, mm precision. Back in the office you have to type up the figures, some sketches are illegible, sometimes connecting dimensions are missing. A second visit costs time and money.
SaaS does not fit furniture production
plancraft, ToolTime, and HERO are solid products — for painters or electricians. For joiners, cutting list logic, workshop order sequencing, and machine time are missing. You pay monthly for software that was built half for other trades.
Material purchasing with no overview
Timber panels, fittings from Blum or Hettich, lacquers, veneers — ordered from three supplier catalogues, filed across five e-mails. On the next job the search starts again from scratch.
FeaturesWhat do we typically build for joinery and cabinetmaking businesses?
A joinery software solution from krafteq is assembled from modules we tailor to your business — from furniture manufacturing through interior fit-out to staircase and window production. These eight features appear in virtually every joinery project:
Cutting list generator
Automatically generate cutting lists from order dimensions — position, material, dimension in millimetres, quantity, processing, fittings. Exportable as CSV or PDF, optionally in CNC format for your machine.
Site measurements to mm precision
Enter dimensions directly on-site into the software — tablet or smartphone, with a sketch function, photo attachments, and connecting dimensions. No manual transcription back at the office.
Material purchasing and suppliers
Timber, fittings, glass, lacquer, veneer, and panel materials in one master database. Reorder suggestions at minimum stock, with optional integrations to fittings and panel materials suppliers — where an API is available.
Workshop orders with machine time
Orders in the workshop with sequencing, required tools, and machine time at the CNC, panel saw, or edge banding machine. Visible on the workshop tablet, with time recording per position.
Delivery and installation appointments
From workshop completion to delivery to the customer's installation appointment. Route planning, travel times, handover record with signature on the tablet — all parties see the current status.
Semi-finished stock management
Timber panels, boards, veneers, off-cuts — who has what in stock, where is it, how much remains? Consumption is automatically deducted on the workshop order.
Photo documentation of finished work
Completed furniture, fitted kitchens, installed staircases — photos per order, automatically assigned to the customer file. Doubles as a marketing portfolio for your website or social media.
Mobile app and e-invoicing
iOS and Android for site measurements, installation documentation, and time recording — including offline on site without signal. E-invoicing with XRechnung and ZUGFeRD for the phased mandatory e-invoicing requirement from 2026.

Prototype in 5 business days
krafteq builds a working prototype of your most important 1–2 workflows. Hosted live on Krafteq Cloud, with a login for you and 1–2 further users, and realistic sample data matching joinery orders — a cutting list for a fitted kitchen, a workshop order for a staircase, an installation appointment at a customer's premises. In the walkthrough we demonstrate everything and discuss the next version.
You see your own joinery software in action — before you pay a penny.

The established SaaS providers are solid software — for standard businesses, with standard processes, at a standard fee. For joinery and cabinetmaking businesses with their own cutting list logic or a desire to own the code, the calculation is different.

“A joinery business works with dimensions in millimetres and fittings from Blum or Hettich — no standard SaaS maps that cleanly. AI-assisted development has changed the rules: bespoke software that genuinely understands your cutting lists and workshop orders is now available at a fixed price for the first time. We build it for you — with code ownership, without a subscription trap, and with the rigour we owe enterprise clients.”
