Because it depends on your business — trade, size, how you want it operated, how much fine-tuning you expect. A figure on the website would have to assume things we do not know yet, and would be either non-binding or wrong. Instead we put the terms into your offer: one-off, in writing, with the scope stated.

Once: the fixed-price perpetual licence — the permanent right of use for the software as delivered. Annually: only the operation, if you leave it with krafteq, and the first year is included. If you run it yourself, the annual part disappears entirely. You buy the software. You rent the operation — or run it yourself.

No. krafteq bills neither per user nor per workstation; the price depends on the business. With the well-known subscription vendors the price hangs on seats or on tiers — plancraft charges office and field seats separately, HERO per additional app licence, ToolTime tiers by team size. Where that applies, the software gets more expensive as soon as you hire. Ours does not.

All updates and security updates are included in the first year. After that, updates and operation run through maintenance — like a machine. And without maintenance? Then your version simply keeps running, indefinitely.

The purchase price is a fixed price and is stated in the offer. Fine-tuning after go-live is included within the agreed scope and is not billed afterwards. If you want an extension beyond that, you get a separate offer for it — before anything is built, not after.

Three routes, all supported. First, krafteq operation: EU servers, security patches, daily backups, monitoring, support, maintenance and a data processing agreement, as an annual service per installation. Second, self-hosting on your server or with your IT provider — standard containers, no ongoing commitment towards krafteq, with security updates becoming your responsibility. Third, offline operation entirely inside your own network, without an internet connection.

Not in the first month — a subscription is cheaper to begin with, and we say so. The difference builds over the years, because the monthly fee keeps running as long as you use the software, and because at the vendors we checked the price is tied to plan tier or seat count (as of Aug 2026). We deliberately publish no savings figure: what a business actually pays per office and per field seat is not reliably established, and an invented number would not help you decide.

Yes. After the free trial you receive an individual written offer stating the purchase price, the form of operation, the scope of the fine-tuning and the maintenance option; source code included when you self-host. Only then do you decide; we then set up your business together with you.

Our offer is directed exclusively at businesses (entrepreneurs within the meaning of § 14 BGB), not at consumers.
