No. Our standard product krafteq Handwerk is cut for trades businesses and deliberately covers neither warehousing nor purchasing. For wholesale we build custom — at a fixed price, after a paid analysis phase. The upside: wherever your processes can be expressed with what we have already built, your project does not start from zero. That lowers risk and price considerably, and we check it in the initial consultation.

For many wholesalers of our target size: yes, usually. We build the areas you actually use — order processing, inventory, invoicing, ordering portal, customer management, DATEV export. What classic ERP systems offer in complexity (multi-plant production, international group consolidation, highly complex pricing and terms engines) we do not build. If you need that, you are better served by an established vendor — and we say so in the initial consultation.

Scope decides, and we only know it after the analysis phase — which is why no amounts appear here. The path is predictable all the same: the initial consultation is free. The analysis phase is short and has a fixed price; it ends with a written scope and a fixed-price quote for the build. Operations then run as an annual service — or you operate it yourself. Concrete terms arrive in your quote, not on a website.

Because an unspecified initiative cannot be priced responsibly — and warehouse and pricing logic are exactly the areas where that goes wrong. The alternative would be time-and-materials billing. In the analysis phase we take on the specification work, and you buy something small first: you can stop afterwards and still hold a usable result, namely the written scope.

With custom development the source code can be handed over to you in full. The reason is logic, not goodwill: what we build only for you has no reuse value for us. What we build for everyone stays our product — that is the rule, and it is written into every quote. Independently of that, your data always belongs to you, with data export at any time.

DATEV export as standard for accounting; a direct DATEV interface only as a later add-on. GAEB and Datanorm for plumbing and electrical wholesale. EDIFACT and ASCII supplier interfaces on request. E-invoicing (XRechnung, ZUGFeRD) is part of the scope. Which interfaces belong in the fixed price and which are calculated as add-ons is stated in your quote.

On servers of European providers — Hetzner, OVHcloud or IONOS, depending on requirements — in Germany or the EU. The architecture supports GDPR-compliant operation: a dedicated database per customer, strict tenant separation, permission models and logging. Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. We document the sub-processors we use and the safeguards in the Art. 28 GDPR data processing agreement and the TOMs. If you would rather operate it yourself or work entirely without an internet connection, that works too.

Yes, usually. Data migration is an optional add-on; the effort depends on data quality and source (ERP export, database, spreadsheet). We extract your master data — articles, customers, suppliers, open orders — and bring it into the new software. A phased approach is possible too, where the legacy system keeps running for certain functions at first.
